Jackson Hospital Announces
Grand Opening of Outpatient Center July 18, 2011, Marianna, FL. Jackson Hospital held its Outpatient Center Grand Opening Wednesday, July 27th, from 2pm-5pm with the official Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting at 2:30pm.
The Outpatient Center provides a new and convenient location for physician-ordered diagnostic testing, such as lab draws, Ultrasound exams, Mammograms, Dexa Scans (Bone Density) and infusion therapy services such as Reclast and Chemotherapy.
Grand Opening festivities included free tours led by clinical staff, the Chamber’s ribbon cutting, and light refreshments. Shannon Powell, Director of Radiology, Steve Cartwright, Director of Laboratory, and Shane Gilmore, Director of Patient Financial Services, were excited to show the public the spacious, new facility. They devoted many hours designing the space to better serve patients.

Jackson Hospital’s mission is to provide exceptional healthcare to every patient, every day. The hospital is growing with its $7.5M renovation and ER Expansion construction project and by recruiting new physicians. The Hospital now has 32 physicians on its Active Staff, and offers new specialties such as Cardiology, Hematology/Medical Oncology, OB/GYN, Orthopedics/Sports Medicine, General Surgery, and Urology.
