JACKSON HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES ITS
2009 MEDICAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Marianna, FL, January 12, 2009. The 2009 Officers of Jackson Hospital’s Medical Staff, referred to as the Medical Executive Committee (MEC), began their term January 1. The MEC is the governing body of the Medical Staff.
Dr. Doyle Bosse is Chief of Staff, Dr. Richard Goff is Vice Chief, Dr. Mark Akerson is Chief of Medicine, Dr. Chai Arunakul is Chief of Surgery and Dr. Murray Baker is Secretary/Treasurer. Providing MEC continuity from one slate of officers to the next, Dr. Steven Spence is Immediate Past Chief of Staff.
Doctors Bosse and Goff will serve two-year terms, as Chief of Staff and Vice Chief, respectively. Doctors Akerson, Arunakul, and Baker will serve one year terms.
Jackson Hospital’s Medical Staff consists of board-certified physicians in primary care and variety of medical specialties. They are a critical component of the community, serving as credentialed physicians who admit or perform regular medical services at the hospital.
