| Jackson Hospital promotes health and healing through education to the region. We offer CPR, automated external defibrillator, outpatient diabetes self-management, smoking cessation, and childbirth education classes. These classes are provided directly and in partnership with other community health care providers and cost little or are available at no cost to participants.
We host support groups for Parkinson’s Disease, cancer, and chronic lung disease. These groups meet regularly to provide information on disease states and offer compassionate support.
Our MedWheels-on-the-Move program offers free health screenings at many community events. Just look for the Medwheels bus.
