Chipola Surgical & Medical Specialties adds Internal Medicine
Practice opening August 1 for Dr. Murali Krishna, Internist
Marianna, FL, July 29, 2011. Jackson Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of its newest physician practice, Chipola Surgical & Medical Specialties – Internal Medicine, 2946 Jefferson Street, Marianna, on August 1st. The practice physician is Dr. Murali Krishna who will focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult illness and conditions. He will begin seeing patients August 1st, is accepting new patients, and can be reached at (850) 526-3314.
Dr. Krishna is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians and American Medical Association. His medical training includes Internal Medicine residency at The Jewish Hospital, affiliated with the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and postdoctoral training in infectious diseases.
He brings six years Internal Medicine practice experience to Chipola Surgical & Medical Specialties – Internal Medicine.
He and his spouse reside in Marianna and look forward to being part of the community.
Dr. Krishna is one of 10 new physicians joining the community and Active Medical Staff of Jackson Hospital over the past two years. The Hospital now has 32 physicians on Active Staff, and offers specialties such as Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, Hematology/Medical Oncology, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology Diseases/Surgery of the Eye, Orthopedics/Sports Medicine/Joint Replacement, Pediatrics, Pediatric Dentistry, Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine/Geriatric, Radiology, and Urology.
